In a surprising crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Features

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana alongside several objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
